​ The Council, at its ordinary meeting held on 22nd of August 2023, resolved as follows on the matters before it in respect of Section 29(1) of The Engineering Profession Act No 46 of 2000, which reads as follows;- The Council must, after considering a report of the Investigating Committee in terms of section 28(2)(b) and (4), charge a Registered Person with improper conduct if the Council is convinced that sufficient grounds exist for a charge to be preferred against such a Registered Person.
